Conceitos físicos e metafísicos no jovem Newton

Abstract
We have analyzed the manuscript 'De Gravitatione' of Isaac Newton s. This text was written between the end of the decade of 1660 and the beginning of the decade of 1670. At a moment of rupture with René Descartes, we see Newton strongly criticizing the mecanicist physics and philosophy, as well as we perceive his first and immature tryings of building what we call now the Newtonian Mechanics. By this critic of Descartes 's thought and of his 'atheism ', we can study Newton 's view of God and His active role in the constitution of the world. Newton 's philosophical view is very similar to that found in his maturation works. ln the 'De Gravitatione', the author speaks freely about natural philosophical questions in a way that we do not perceive in other works, and this constitutes the first time he proposes the absolute time and absolute space concepts.
