O conhecimento astronômico e o mundo mágico-religioso do homem pré-histórico brasileiro

Abstract

Based on cave paintings from Chapada Diamantina, the author seeks to highlight the level of astronomical knowledge of Brazilian prehistoric man, who would be linked to his magical-religious world. Seeking to identify the authorship of the paintings, the author uses mystical narratives of current indigenous groups, possibly linked to pictorial sets left by prehistoric man in canyons, caves and shelters existing in the Archaeological Region of Central, Bahia.
