Abstract

We intend to approach questions related to the museums of science and technology pointing up the uses and abuses of certain concepts, for example, the memory, wich compromise the understanding of the functions of these institutions. Beyond that the present article intends to emphasize the importance of the fact that we can’t forget that the concepts of the exhibitions of the museums of science and technology, the different meanings of the scientific instruments and the machines that belong to the archives could lead us to a more wide discussion about museum, science and culture.
