Unidades fisiológicas de Hebert Spencer
Abstract
This paper aims to show Spencer 's biological ideas held in his work Principies of Biology, to be more specific the idea of biological inheritance, which to the author is connected with the phisiological units. These units are something between the cell and the chemistry units; they are inside the cell and they are a compla of chemestry units. For Spencer, an organism can reproduce another one similar to it self. This capacity, like the regeneration, is due to an innate tendency of self organizaticin of physiological units which are in every cell. But they do not have only the in/ormation about the species; they also have the information about the individual variations and their ancestors.
