Por uma razão não corrompida
Pedagogia do Iluminismo e Construção da Ciência
Abstract
The XVll/th century is essentially characterized by the diffusion of the use of reason as a means to attain progress. Therefore, the search was for a society ruled by Aufklãrung, "enlightened". This article is a discussion on the project of an enlightened society that uses the book as a fundamental pedagogic tool in accomplishing its objectives. For that purpose, we concentrated on three books, meaning-ful both for their repercussion and for clearly containing that pedagogic project: Diderot's and D'Alembert's Encyclopédie, Rousseau's Émile and Philippe Pinel's Traité Médico-Philosophique sur I 'Aliénation Mentale.
