History
RBHC began to be published in 1985, under the name Revista da Sociedade Brasileira de História da Ciência, two years after the foundation of the society. In 2003, after a five-year interruption, it was once again published under the name Revista da SBHC.
Since 2008, it has adopted the name Revista Brasileira de História da Ciência.
Initially dedicated exclusively to the publication of articles, RBHC gradually began to publish other types of material, such as reviews, thesis abstracts, transcripts or translations of primary sources and, more recently, of articles that deal with the relationship between History of Science and Education.
