Considerations about chemistry education and history of science in Nilópolis

The considerations about the process of institutionalization of chemistry education in Baixada Fluminense, presenting this text, was built up during the developing of a research project that discuss the institutionalization of natural science in Rio de Janeiro, Nilópolis and environs. This project used the history of science to comprehend the chemistry education in this region, exploring the intersubjectivities inherent the process of institutionalization of the chemistry teaching from the speech of teachers belonging the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio de Janeiro, campus Nilópolis.
