Abstract

How to make the Science teaching meaningful in order to lead students to realize that the Science construction was not something linear, being what we know today as product of many thinkers that many times differed between themselves? Searching for an answer this paper presents a proposal of using the History of Science to teaching. Such approach needs to be explored since the beginning of children’s school years, since it enables them to develop gradually, according to their cognitive level, an understanding about what and how Science is done. Thus, we have explored the idea of using experimentation as an educational object which helps this process.
