Arqueologia viking e nacionalismo: uma análise dos livros de Jens Worsaae (1843-1873)

Resumen

O artigo apresenta uma análise de algumas obras do dinamarquês Jens Worsaae, procurando verificar como a arqueologia oitocentista e particularmente, os pioneiros estudos sobre a cultura material dos vikings, estiveram atrelados a idealizações nacionalistas desse período. Nosso principal referencial é o da história da arqueologia, especialmente as publicações de Margarita Díaz-Andreu, relacionadas a ideologias políticas na ciência do século XIX.
