Alguns apontamentos sobre o desenvolvimento da ciência de Georg Simon Ohm (1789-1854)

Resumo

Este trabalho visa apresentar algumas ideias referentes ao desenvolvimento da ideia de ciência de Georg Simon Ohm (1789-1854), com o intuito de fornecer contribuições para melhor compreensão tanto de seus trabalhos quanto da ciência do período. Pois, embora as principais referências para a investigação proposta sejam suas pesquisas acústicas, os apontamentos epistemológicos e contextuais aqui realizados podem ser enxergados de forma mais geral. São abordados embates de Ohm com a corrente de pensamento denominada Naturphilosophie, ao mesmo tempo que se pode observar uma aproximação de Ohm dessa corrente. Além disso, a utilização da matemática como investigação dos fenômenos físicos é questão que estava em debate e a abordagem mais abstrata de Ohm parece destoar do que era praticado na época. Nesse aspecto, o contato com trabalhos de estudiosos franceses teria sido decisivo em sua formação científica.
